31 Dec 2011

What a way to kick start a new blog.... On the very last day of 2011.

The blogging fever has simmer down(or perhaps I've grew older and oblivious to the current craze), but one of the objectives of 2012 is to maintain a blog, to use the blog to share memories, experiences and thoughts. especially my travelling journals! 2011 is a hell of globe-trotting year, I've been to Bali, Hong Kong, Genting, Taiwan, Pulau Rawa(off Mersing) and Ho Chi Minh. I missed travelling so much but I must resist the urge to travel. There is more important stuff to attend to at the moment but then again, Angkor Wat is calling me.

Resolutions of 2012? Plenty. I’ve listed 18 items to achieve so far. How to achieve them? A simple way that I’ve learnt is to look at the goals every day. Yes, write it down and review it on a daily basis. By constantly reminding yourself of a certain goal, the OBJECTIVE could be achieved. A friend of mine recently shed 10 kilograms, and this is his method of achieving his goal. Review the goals on a daily basis.

I desperately need to lose some weight, get rid of the freaking love handles and stay lean again. He who fails to plan, plans to fail. Would it be Mr Procrastinator again in 2012? We shall see. I also plan to use more time in 2012 to catch up with friends, family and loved ones.

Btw, Tahoma is my favourite font type, so I would this to it and see how it blends to the blog. I shall end this post with one of my favourite song of 2011, Adele's Someone Like you.

Happy 2012, wishing everyone good luck and health for 2012.

Cheers, Mr Wanderlust
